I am Smaranda, a 29-year-old photographer from Romania, based in the United Kingdom.
I have been in love with photography ever since I can remember, but I have always believed that this should remain a hobby. Until recently. The more I tried to pursue other roads, the more I’ve come to realize that there is no other option for me.
The only constant in my life is photography.
And every time I try to find the reason I am attracted to this form of art, the answer that comes up over and over again is: love.
Love for the surrounding humans who inspire me and ignite the desire to capture their essence.
Love for this tool which has helped me cherish the body that I live in.
Love for the process and the multitude of feelings that I experience along the way.
To me, photography has been a therapeutic tool that I wasn’t even aware of. Looking back, I realize that this passion has contributed to my growth in a million ways.
